A MONSTER moth the size of a RAT has been discovered at a building site belonging to a primary school.
The huge creature, which was found by a tradesman outside the Mount Cotton State School in Brisbane, Australia, is reportedly so big that it can’t even fly.

The school, which has more than 600 pupils, branded the find amazing as they posted photos of the moth on their social media channel.
Principal Meagan Steward said the moth was roughly the of two fists put together and could be the biggest moth in the world.

Crash investigators are appealing for witnesses or vision of a crash at Mount Cotton yesterday.
Investigations to date suggest around 7.30am, a gold Mitsubishi Pajero was travelling north along Mount Cotton Road when it crashed into a white Ford Fiesta travelling in the opposite direction, near Seaview Drive.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 51-year-old woman, was transported to hospital in a critical condition while the driver of the Mitsubishi, an 85-year-old man, was transported with minor injuries.
Crash investigators are encouraging anyone who witnessed the crash, or who witnessed the gold Mitsubishi Pajero prior to the crash, to come forward.

The Australian Electoral Commission will investigate Liberal National MP Andrew Laming for potential breaches of electoral laws over more than 30 Facebook pages he operates under the guise of community and education groups.
Laming, who is currently on leave after reports emerged about his mistreatment of women, faces a fine of up to $26,000 for a breach of the authorisation requirements if he is found to have broken the Commonwealth Electoral Act.
As reported by Guardian Australia on Tuesday, Laming has set up dozens of Facebook pages under the guise of community and news groups, including one that poses as a fake education institute.
