Police seek witnesses - Traffic crash, Mount Cotton

Crash investigators are appealing for witnesses or vision of a crash at Mount Cotton yesterday. Investigations to date suggest around 7.30am, a gold Mitsubishi Pajero was travelling north along Mount Cotton Road when it crashed into a white Ford Fiesta travelling in the opposite direction, near Seaview Drive. The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 51-year-old woman, was transported to hospital in a critical condition while the driver of the Mitsubishi, an 85-year-old man, was transported with minor injuries. Crash investigators are encouraging anyone who witnessed the crash, or who witnessed the gold Mitsubishi Pajero prior to the crash, to come forward.

Laming, who is currently on leave after reports emerged about his mistreatment of women, faces a fine of up to $26,000 for a breach of the authorisation requirements if he is found to have broken the Commonwealth Electoral Act.
