A second night of storms has hit large parts of south-east Queensland, with 62 millimetres dumped in the Logan suburb of Priestdale within one hour.
The storms were initially forecast to affect Brisbane CBD, Beenleigh, Logan City and Esk by 6.30pm. Ipswich, Coolangatta were expected to be impacted by 6pm.

By 8pm, the Bureau of Meteorology warned the remaining storms around Redcliffe were likely to affect Caboolture, the northern Moreton Bay and Bribie Island by 8.15pm as they moved offshore.
