Tai Chi is available on Zoom through Ridgefield Continuing Education. Tai Chi helps relieve stress, increase strength and flexibility, improve balance, coordination and circulation and can be practiced by anyone. Class sizes are limited.

Leapfrog: Connecticut hospitals graded from best to worst on safety

In its biannual report, the Leapfrog Group has graded 22 of Connecticut s hospitals based on safety.
The nonprofit, which monitors and reports hospital safety data, grades hospital safety based on a number of factors, including the number of infections and the types of practices in place to prevent errors. The Leapfrog Group looks at the data available from each hospital, and determines how well they ve performed on a graded scale that ranges from A to F.
In Connecticut, seven hospitals received an A grade, five received a B and 10 received a C grade.

NORWALK The Norwalk Public Library is conducting a “Your Best Read of 2020” survey of which books Norwalk residents enjoyed in 2020. The survey will run until Jan. 15 and the results will be calculated shortly thereafter, according to a statement from the library.
On the survey, participants can select one fiction and one non-fiction book from a list of popular reads this year, or add their favorite to the list.
