Cougs Take on No 7/8 Ducks for a Monday Matinee

STARTING FIVE Washington State enters Monday s matinee fresh off the heels of its first win over a ranked-foe since the 2016-17 season, as the Cougs knocked off No. 21-ranked Oregon State, 61-55, this past Sunday. Sophomore Johanna Teder hit four 3-point field goals in the fourth quarter to help the Cougars mount a late-rally against the Beavers. The guard from Tartu, Estonia scored a career-best 20 points in Saturday s upset-victory over OSU. The Cougs will be seeking their first 3-0 start to Pac-12 play in seven seasons this Monday, when they host No. 7/8 Oregon. Washington State began the 2013-14 season with five consecutive wins, which is the best start to a Pac-12 season in school history.

UW Faces Tall Task To Stop Streaking Ducks

SEATTLE - The Huskies (4-2, 1-2 Pac-12) are flying high after a record shooting performance against Portland on Sunday and now welcome in the No. 7 ranked Oregon Ducks (5-0, 3-0 Pac-12) for the third of four-straight games at Alaska Airlines Arena. Washington shot an arena record 64.8% against the Pilots, but the Ducks should provide a much stiffer test. The Ducks fly into Seattle averaging 89.4 points per game, have won their five games by and average of 37.8 points and are on a program record 24-game win streak. They are shooting a sizzling 50.9% for the year and have six players on their roster that stand 6-foot-4 or taller.
