Class of 2021 Bass Fishing Hall of Fame inductee Trip Weldon served as B.A.S.S. tournament director from 2002 to 2020.
By BFHOF Communications Staff Former B.A.S.S. tournament director Trip Weldon, current B.A.S.S. conservation director Gene Gilliland and the late fishing writer Jason Lucas make up the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame Class of 2021, the Hall s board of directors announced today. The trio will be honored Sept. 30 at Johnny Morris Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, Mo. at a special reception within the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame venue, followed by the Halls annual dinner and induction activities.

KINGMAN, Ariz. The Lake Havasu City Police Department is investigating after a Mohave County Sheriff s deputy shot and killed a suspect after a pursuit on Saturday in Kingman.
It is procedure for outside agencies to investigate officer-involved shootings. Lake Havasu City sent information on the incident, which involved the Mohave County Sheriff s Office.
According to the release from Lake Havasu City, deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff s Office tried to conduct a traffic stop around 9 p.m. in Kingman when the vehicle failed to stop and the driver led deputies on a low-speed chase.
During that pursuit, the driver allegedly began driving erratically into on-coming traffic on North Stockton Road and deputies terminated the pursuit.
