The Columbia Public Schools 14-day case rate per 10,000 people is at 19.1.
The updated CPS student tracker shows 134Â students in the district currently in quarantine and 15 active student cases.
To break the student cases down:Â
Elementary schools: 77 quarantined, 7 positive cases, 11 out of 21 schools affected
Middle schools: 25 quarantined, 5 positive case, 4 out of 7 schools affected
High schools: 22 quarantined, 3 positive cases, 3 out of 4 schools affected
Other: 10 quarantined, 0 positive cases
The district has seen 2,458quarantined student cases and 585 positive student cases since June 2020.Â
The updated CPS staff tracker also shows 16Â staff members currently in quarantine and 8Â active staff cases. 2 staff members are out due to EFMLA laws.

The site is appointment-based only for those in eligible tiers. Two second-dose clinics scheduled for this week on Monday and Wednesday were canceled due to weather conditions. Those who originally signed up on either of these days had their appointments postponed to Friday with their same times.

Members in the meeting brought up concerns involving both Boone County Jailâs cold conditions and its response to COVID-19.
Claims were made that there was a lack of heat throughout the jail, leaving inmates cold and unable to do anything about it.
