Here’s who’s playing this summer so far, as pop concerts return to Maine
Outdoor venues like Thompson s Point are starting to book shows, and some indoor ones already have full schedules.

After an eerily quiet 2020, venues all over Maine will be filled with music this year.
There were some small outdoor shows in Maine last year – at drive-ins or musicians’ homes – but this year, indoor venues and large outdoor ones are booking national acts once again.
Some smaller venues had already booked a full schedule of summer shows, with limited capacities, and may now sell more tickets. Many of the larger venues were waiting for capacity limits and distancing requirements to be lifted and for national acts to start touring again and are now announcing dates.

Obviously, the band is set to perform around the U.S this summer, including headlining performances at New York City’s SummerStage, Chicago’s Ravinia Festival and Denver’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In addition, the group will livestream their performances at Beak & Skiff Orchards in upstate New York on June 5 and 6 as well as their two-night runs at New Haven’s Westville Music Bowl on June 10 and 11. Lake Street Dive Performs ‘Same Old News’ On ‘Kimmel’ & Adds August 2021 Concerts

Lake Street Dive served as the musical guests on Wednesday’s
Jimmy Kimmel Live. The band, who recently added three August concerts to their tour schedule, contributed a remote performance of “Same Old News” to the ABC late-night talk show.

Obviously, a studio album Lake Street Dive released back in March. The quintet filmed the rendition of the song broadcast on last night’s
Kimmel in Brooklyn. Frontwoman Rachael Price shares lead vocals on “Same Old News” with keyboardist Akie Bermiss.
Lake Street Dive will play Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine on August 21. From there, the group heads to The Green at Shelburne in South Burlington, Vermont on August 22 and New York City’s SummerStage on August 24. Tickets for all three shows go on sale this Friday, May 21 at 12 p.m. ET (Portland, South Burlington, New York City).
