In March, provincial court Judicial Justice David Schwartz found Chan guilty of the offences related to a hit and run in the 2700-block of Franklin Street on March 31, 2019.
Schwartz’s ruling noted that police had been dispatched to the scene following reports of a loud crash in which a black vehicle struck a parked BMW, causing extensive damage, and then left the scene.

“Ms. Meng applied to induce evidence in the extradition hearing a number of documents she received from HSBC. My decision is that the application is denied, the HSBC documents will not be admitted,” Holmes said.
Her reasons for the decision will follow, she added.
