here), and continues tonight with four title bouts and a fight so General Manager William Regal washed his hands of the whole thing.

NXT and AEW ran head-to-head on Wednesday night in the Wednesday Night War for the final time this week. And thanks to it being the first half of
NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, WWE s Black and Gold Brand ended the competition with a victory. The event drew 768,000 viewers on the USA Network compared to
Dynamite s 688,000 on TNT. However, as has been the case in all but one of the weeks where the two shows competed, Dynamite still brought in the higher rating in the key demographic with a 0.28 to NXT s 0.22.

Wade Barrett welcomes us to the WWE NXT “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” Global Press Conference. We see NXT Champion Finn Balor, NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai, NXT UK Champion WALTER, NXT Cruiserweight Champions Santos Escobar and Jordan Devlin, Karrion Kross, Raquel Gonzalez, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Tommaso Ciampa sitting at a table while Barrett is at the podium. The questions have been taken from journalists ahead of time.
Cole is asked about respecting O’Reilly when it comes to his in-ring work. Cole praises O’Reilly and says it’s a shame he’s turned into such an idiot. Balor is asked about how he and Kross have both lost titles due to injuries. Balor says they do have some similarities but Kross is the one who has to prove himself at Takeover. Wade Barrett welcomed everyone to the conference, saying we are one day away from the biggest event in WWE NXT history. The NXT talents are sitting on a across tables, surrounding Barrett.
Adam Cole was asked about Kyle O Reilly by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. He put over Cole as a wrestler but said what an idiot it is he s become. He said Kyle is a great tag team wrestler and is better at tag teams than a singles wrestler.
– WWE released a new Top 10 video today showcasing the Loudest WrestleMania Pops. Some fans took note that return of The Hardys at WrestleMania 33 was not included. Matt Hardy commented on the video later on Twitter.
At WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, The Hard Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) made a surprise return to WWE. They beat Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, The Bar, and Enzo Amore and Big Cass in a Ladder Match for the Raw tag team titles. The Hardy Boyz ultimately won the match and the titles, and they were not advertised for the show.
Matt Hardy tweeted on Sunday, “For everyone who’s tweeted me, our WM33 return isn’t included because I’m now at @AEW. I’ve always felt it’s a damaging practice to selectively revise history with diehard fans. You tell me, should our WM33 return be on this list?”
