LOS ANGELES (AP) A report that Los Angeles police officers circulated a photo of George Floyd with the words “you take my breath away” in a Valentine-like format has prompted an internal.
LOS ANGELES (KABC) Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore says that if anti-vaccine protesters interfere with people getting the COVID-19 vaccine, as some did over the weekend at Dodger Stadium, they may be arrested or cited.
On Saturday, the Los Angeles Fire Department shut the entrance to the stadium as a precaution at about 2 p.m. Saturday after it was blocked by a few dozen demonstrators.
Hundreds of motorists who had been waiting in line were stalled for about an hour, with the location reopening within an hour. The mayor s office says despite the 55-minute interruption, no appointments were canceled. No arrests were made.

Officials from the Los Angeles Fire Department closed the main entrance of Dodger Stadium s vaccination site for nearly an hour as a result of a protest on Saturday.
About 40 to 60 demonstrators gathered at the stadium holding signs promoting their anti-vaccine and anti-mask beliefs and shouting at drivers who were in line for their vaccination appointments.
Los Angeles Fire Department Assistant Chief Ellsworth Fortman, who oversees the department s COVID-19 response, told the Los Angeles Times that the decision to close the stadium s entrance came amid public safety concerns. Despite those concerns, Fortman said the demonstrators did little to inhibit vaccine distribution.
