The two presented an authorization letter from the consignee, a certain Glory Joy Buzeta, in claiming the packages in the Quezon City Postal Office. The BOC said the packages were shipped by a certain Agner Buzeta and Victor Martis from the Netherlands and were declared as handbags and shoes, baby clothes, and clothes.

In a Facebook post, the Bangsamoro Government said Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta executive director and Grand Mufti of the Bangsamoro Sheikh Abu Huraira Udasan officially announced that the moon has not been sighted, signifying that Eid l Fitr will be on Thursday. Earlier, President Rodrigo Duterte declared May 13 a regular holiday nationwide in observance of the Eid l Fitr. This is provided under Presidential Proclamation 1142 issued by the Chief Executive on Monday, May 10.

According to PISA, the most common digital skill taught at school on average across Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries is understanding the consequences of making information publicly available online, while the least common skill taught was how to detect phishing or spam emails (76% and 41% of students in OECD countries reported being taught this during their entire school experience). There are also considerable differences across and within countries. An average of 54% of students in OECD countries reported being trained at school on how to recognize whether information is biased or not, it said.
