Vehicle reservation programs are nothing new, but they have exploded in popularity in the past few years.
That can probably be chalked up to Tesla, which can rack up hundreds of thousands of reservations for vehicles years before they’re launched.
Automakers seem to have taken notice as many new vehicles now have a reservation program of their own. A few well-known examples are the Ford Bronco and GMC Hummer EV.
