Ferrara, 70, of 15 Lake Street, Sabattus, died at her home on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, following a long illness. Born in Revere, Mass., on Sept. 27, 1950, she was the oldest of the 10 children of William and Ethel Segool Croce. Educated in Massachusetts schools, she married the love of her life, Donald K. Ferrara Sr., on April 7, 1968. Don passed only three days before Frances, on Feb. 1, 2021. They moved to Mercer, in 1980. Besides being a devoted wife and mother, she also worked several different jobs, including as a prison guard at the Maine State Prison in Thomaston, at AMHI in Augusta, and as a manager at several places along the way. Along with her husband, she loved going to the casino in Oxford, boating and fishing. She was also a big Bingo lover, and Don would go along to be
