Just clear a spot among the discarded red hats and empty Mountain Dew liters and have a seat, because we’re going to talk 1990s cyberpunk cinema. Back in the ’90s, we had a different vision for The Future (aka the 2000s). Yes, it was also dystopian AF, but at least it looked cool and the tech was awesome. Instead of sleek black-leather suits and flying cars, what do we have in 2021? Neon Crocs and Bluetooth butt plugs. Lame.

Reclusive Perth billionaire Angela Bennett s purchase of a $1.675 million canal-front house in Wannanup has increased her property holdings on the one street to three blocks.
The iron ore heiress already owns two undeveloped land parcels, a combined 1385 square metres, she bought for $575,000 each nearly 20 years ago at Avocet Island Quay in the Eastport canals.
Perth billionaire Angela Bennett has three properties on the same street in Wannanup overlooking a canal.

Mount Gay Distilleries Ltd recently recognised the contribution of ten of its retirees and over 20 long-standing team members during the company’s awards ceremony.
Among the retirees were Pamela Greaves and Hayden Fields, who were with the company for 38 and 31 years respectively, as well as Angela Bennett and Marcia John, both serving 29 years; Ambadeen Watson – 24 years; Stevenson Hall – 23 years and Junes Haynes – 22 years. Sharon Cadogan, Claudia Freer and George Worrell, who collectively served over 40 years with the company, also received awards.
