When Andrea Grove opened her Harrisburg coffee shop, she budgeted a salary of $15 an hour for her employees.
That hourly rate is more than $7 above the federal and state minimum wage of $7.25 an hour and put Ms. Grove on one side of a years-long debate about whether the minimum wage should increase and, if so, by how much and how quickly.
Ms. Grove, who opened Elementary Coffee in 2014, ran into some of the problems business owners worry about when discussing a minimum wage increase. The $15 rate may limit the number of employees she can bring on board and it could prevent her from franchising the business or opening more locations across the state.
Men indicted on pandering charges

SIDNEY – Two men were indicted Feb. 18 by the Shelby County grand jury on charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and pandering obscenity involving a minor.
Bradley A. Stangel, 30, at large, was indicted on 20 charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, each a second degree felony. Stangel is accused of reproducing material showing minors participating or engaging in sexual activity from May 2, 2019, to Jan. 2, 2020.
Kenneth D. Marker, 25, of Minster, was indicted on 19 charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor, each a fourth degree felony. Marker is accused of downloading and possessing obscene material involving minors on Feb. 3.

An abandoned boat left to freeze in Lake Ontario angered some Toronto residents at Humber Bay Park this month.
The boat is tied to a public dock and appears to be damaged, likely due to recent frigid temperatures.
It was sinking last week, according to a post in the Humber Bay Shores Discussion Facebook group. People noticed the boat had been tied to public moorings over the last few months.
