Norton Rose Fulbright unveils 47 new partners - with women making up the majority

Twenty-five women promoted, 53% of cohort, as global firm makes up partners across 22 offices

Twenty-five of the new partners – known as directors in South Africa – are women, 53% of the cohort. That represents a jump from 42% last year and 39% in 2019. “Practising in 22 offices across 11 countries on six continents, these lawyers reflect the truly global nature of Norton Rose Fulbright and its wide range of client offerings,” said chief executive Gerry Pecht. “Most importantly, our firm’s continued focus on diversity and inclusion is showing positive results, with female lawyers accounting for more than half of our promotions.”
