FAIRMONT Two Fairmont men are facing felony charges in Martin County.
Dakota Joseph Haegeman, 27, and Jayden Larry Thomas Sathoff, 19, have both been charged with drug possession in the fifth degree. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
According to the complaint:
At approximately 7:29 p.m. on January 12, 2021, a Fairmont Police officer was dispatched to the area of the Martin County Library in Fairmont following a report of a possible drug related activity that involved a white Chevrolet Impala. As the officer responded to the scene, he was advised that the Impala had moved to the front of the E-Z Wash Laundromat.

For years, street artist Shek Vega has wanted to paint something on the wall of the E-Z Wash laundromat at Southcross Boulevard and Zarzamora Street.
“I drive that route almost every day, if not two times a day,” said Vega, who grew up just a few blocks away and still lives in the neighborhood. “I’ve always seen that wall, either really white or with graffiti on it, and I always wanted to create something in that space.
