Most of the accidents happened because of traffic violations, including speeding, swerving and distracted driver, said Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, director of the Dubai Traffic Police. “The first accident was reported on an internal road in Al Quoz Industrial Area in front of the Emirates Driving Institute. A light vehicle collided with an e-scooter rider who was riding in an undesignated zone,” Brig Al Mazrouei said. The biker was seriously injured and was rushed to a hospital.
