Breaking: Hospitality and tourism sectors witness well-needed boost in applications
The latest job market data from the UKs leading independent job board, CV-Library, reveals that the number of job postings has continued to climb throughout May, increasing by +5.2%, month-on-month.
Interestingly, while the findings show that the overall number of applications dropped by -5.9% month-on-month, the following industries actually witnessed an increase in the number of applications during May: Hospitality (up 33.8%) Customer Services (up 11.7%) Media (up 6.6%)
What’s more, applications in the administration, legal and retail sectors remained stable, with applications increasing by +3.6%, +1.3% and +0.5%, respectively.
