Mumbai drug case: Sameer Khan sent to 14-days judicial custody Mirror Online / Updated: Jan 18, 2021, 13:08 IST Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law Sameer Khan has been sent to judicial custody in connection with a drug case. Last week, Khan was arrested after detailed interrogation that lasted the whole day. The arrest was made after the seizure of a large quantity of 200 kgs Ganja from one courier at Bandra West. Today, he was taken for medical examination and then produced before a court. The Esplanade court sent him to 14-day judicial custody. In a tweet on January 14, Malik said, Nobody is above the law and it should be applied without any discrimination. Law will take its due course and justice will prevail. I respect and have immense faith in our judiciary.

The NCB had summoned and later arrested Sameer Khan, who runs a real estate business, on Wednesday for allegedly making online transactions of lakhs of rupees with two persons arrested on January 9 after 200 kg of marijuana was seized from British national Karan Sajnani’s house in Bandra.
