The Saskatchewan and Alberta governments are renewing their agreement to cooperate on health services in a community that spans their shared border.
There was an official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two provinces this morning (Mon), which lays out a renewed agreement originally signed in 2014 for the delivery of health services in Lloydminster.
Saskatchewan’s Minister of Rural and Remote Health, Everett Hindley, says the renewed MOU means the two provinces will collaborate in the planning and funding of health services delivered within a 150-kilometre radius of the City of Lloydminster.
A Bi-Provincial Health Services Committee will address issues of concern.
