All SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards categories have now been sponsored, less than two months after the inaugural event was first announced – marking a significant milestone for the county’s definitive new business event.

All categories in the inaugural SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards have now been backed by a high calibre and diverse range of sponsors from across the county’s business community.
Set to become the definitive event in Gloucestershire’s business calendar, SGGBA headline sponsors, GFirst LEP and The Growth Hub, have now been joined by 15 other category sponsors.
Former athlete and coach confident YASCO will be completed in short order

Track and field coach and a former national athlete,
Evans Jones, is confident that work at the country’s lone track & field facility, the YASCO Sports Complex, will be completed by the end of February.
Jones, who is also the deputy director of sports within the sports ministry, believes that once all goes according to plan and Mondo technicians arrive as scheduled this month, the laying of the surface could be completed within a month’s time.
“I am looking forward to 2021 very optimistically, looking forward to the laying of the surface at YASCO track and I am confident we will get it before the end of February, but the pandemic has been like a blessing in disguise for myself and those athletes who would have been training with me throughout the pandemic,” he said.
