Morrisville, N.C. A man was arrested at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Monday during what could be one of the busiest travel weeks of the year.
According to an arrest report, Glente McDougald, 35, of Lillington, was charged with going armed to terrorize the people, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of/consuming alcohol in a passenger area and simple possession of marijuana.
A spokesperson from RDU said McDougald was taken off airport property and transported to the Wake County Detention Center.
Due to coronavirus, far fewer people are expected to pass through the airport this year, but RDU is still anticipating 104,200 travelers for Christmas week, or about one-third the number who traveled through the airport last year.
