(Julian Johns/Courtesy photo) VACAVILLE “The Joy Luck Club” author Amy Tan’s upcoming visit to the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre has been rescheduled again. Solano County Library determined the March 21 event should be postponed due to the uncertain nature of whether social gatherings will be permitted or advisable. The author event has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. March 20, 2022. Existing ticketholders will have an opportunity in early 2022 to exchange their tickets for the new date. “The government has called on the public to stop gathering to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, and so it wouldn’t be responsible for us to go ahead with the event at this time. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and encourage the community to join us next year,” said Bonnie Katz, director of Library Services, in a press release.
