The first of the August festivals are amongst us and boy what a start to the season. Kicking things off in style is Fringe of Colour, running
1-15 August. Beginning life as a spreadsheet spotlighting shows that starred or were created by people of colour in an often overwhelmingly white Fringe programme, the organisation has grown into its very own festival in just four years, with this year s edition being their second digital offering.

The Sparks Brothers and plans to go on tour. Now we have more details of the full programme, which also includes Prano Bailey-Bond’s
The Nest and the UK premiere of Janicza Bravo’s
Zola.
Running between 29 July and 1 August at Picturehouse Central in London, the festival will celebrate both British talent and international filmmakers, with screenings, short films, discussions and presentations around different cinematic subjects.
