Woman, 25, found fatally stabbed in her N.J. home, authorities say

A 25-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in her Camden home, authorities said Tuesday.
Tonia Yamileth was found by police Monday around 8:45 a.m. in an upstairs bedroom at the home on the 1000 block of South 6th Street after officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer.
Yamileth was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. An autopsy revealed she died from a stab wound and blunt force trauma to the neck, officials said.
“Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding her death and who is responsible,” the prosecutor said in a joint statement with Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting early Sunday in Camden.
Police responded to the 200 block of Marlton Pike shortly after midnight for a report of a shooting and found Jimel Quann, 44, of Camden, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
He was pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m.
No arrests have been announced.
