Costco just announced that they will be opening new stores across the U.S.
Many retailers are pulling back on their physical stores, Costco is opening several new ones around the U.S. this summer and at least 20 next year. Their new store locations will include Moore, Oklahoma, Murfressboro, Tennessee, and Naperville, Illinois. Sales raised at the warehouse at the height of the pandemic and have remained high.
In May, revenue was up nearly 22% to $44 billion.

LA County wants expanded outdoor dining to continue after June 15th.
According to the LA County Board of Supervisors, they want to keep outdoor dining options available after the state lifts other business restrictions on June 15th. Outdoor dining was temporarily allowed to expand during the COVID-19 pandemic, with some seating in some cases taking up public sidewalks and parking spaces, as restaurants were forced to close their indoor seating areas.
Restaurants throughout California are expected to reopen for full capacity for indoor dining starting on the 15th. Gov. Newsom stated that expanded outdoor dining should continue, but local cities and counties could set their own rules.

Starbucks just announced that they will be accepting reusable cups again!
Starting on June 22nd, all customers will be allowed to place orders using their reusable cups by using its new contactless model. With this new set-up, you will being in your clean cup, keep your lid, place your cup in a ceramic cup and hand it to the barista who will then pour you your drink!
For the time being, the new policy will only be in store for right now, there is no word yet on when this new feature will add drive-thru.
