“What I know is that they keep reminding the people on masks and physical distancing,” he added.
The spiritual adviser of El Shaddai said based on his observations, members follow the health protocols.
“Whenever I say Mass, I see the right protocol being observed,” said Bacani.
“Even if they investigate they will be happy to know that no one is getting sick. God protects his little ones. What we hear are stories of cures,” he added.
Last Saturday, El Shaddai held its Family Appointment event at the Amvel City of Faith in Parañaque City owned by its leader, Bro. Mike Velarde, drawing scores of members despite the existing health protocols and restrictions on mass gatherings.

A Park Hills pastor has written a new book of spiritual truths the author says she has learned through her personal walk with Christ.
Geri Coulter, co-pastor along with her husband Clifton of Grace Family Outreach, released âNuggets From the Gold Mineâ back in June. She had planned to promote the book when it was released but her husband had to undergo emergency brain surgery and then she contracted the coronavirus in August.
Coulterâs awareness of lifeâs ups and downs may be why this book may speak to readers who donât normally pick up and read books on the Christian walk. Itâs obvious from the very first chapter that she didnât write the book from the viewpoint of a perfect Christian who has lived a perfect life. Coulter and her husband have experienced both joys and heartaches. Some might say the stories she shares in âNuggets From the Gold Mineâ are the real deal.
