El Paso officials are urging patience as they try to distribute the vaccine in a timely manner and is reminding residents that rollout is dependent on the state.
Officials continue to distribute both the first and second vaccine dosage as soon as it is given to the city by the state, El Paso Fire Chief Mario D Agostino said.
The city is dependent on the Texas government to distribute the vaccines. So far the city has received more than 104,550 doses, which include both shipments of the first doses of the vaccine and the second one.
