Elaine Carey stepped into the role of chief customer officer at Three in March 2020, leading the combined customer and marketing teams.
Carey’s role was created as part of a company restructure, which saw the chief marketing officer role cut and both the marketing and customer teams combined under the remit of the chief commercial officer – a new role at Three.
Carey joined from Three Ireland, where she had worked since 2007. At Three Ireland she was also CCO and was responsible for driving the company’s strategic commercial agenda.
Carey’s remit covers all consumer commercial areas and she is responsible for the sales strategy, digital and web strategy, marketing strategy and consumer PR alongside consumer propositions.

GARY â Keeping the Dream Alive, part of the Indiana University Northwest Office of Admissions Spring Forward series of virtual information sessions about college, will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on April 9.
This special event will provide an opportunity for prospective undocumented and DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) students to learn more about the DACA program, the application process at IU Northwest, and how to apply for financial aid as an undocumented or DACA student.
Attendees will hear from Karina Garduño, the assistant director for Multicultural Programming at IUPUI. Garduño works in several areas within the IUPUI Multicultural Center and serves as the primary point of contact for DACA and undocumented students who attend IU campuses.

The past few weeks have seen a flurry of travel-related COVID-19 news. From the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requiring a negative COVID-19 test from all international travelers upon entry to Transport Canada extending the country’s cruise ship ban by more than a year.
While these decisions impact the industry as a whole, already-struggling travel advisors feeling the effects as more clients are holding back to wait and see how new regulations are applied.
