Synopsis:
Alexis recovered her hearing after witnessing the brutal murder of her family when she was ten. The visceral experience awakened synesthetic abilities in her. And started her on an orphaned path of self-discovery through the healing tones of brutal violence. She goes on to pursue a career teaching and experimenting to find new sounds. She is supported and loved by her roommate Marie who is unaware of the dark secrets behind Alexis’ unique music.

Unexpected turmoil and changes in society have long inspired people to make serious adjustments in their professional and personal lives. That has certainly been the case for the world this past year, as all societies are contending with political conflict and the uncertain longevity of the COVID-19 pandemic. The title anti-hero in the upcoming horror film, ‘Jakob’s Wife,’ is a prime example of someone who’s struggling with how external events are influencing her to embark on an internal transformation.
Along with Mark Steensland and Kathy Charles, Travis Stevens co-wrote the script for the drama, which he went on to also produce and direct. Stevens asked his fellow producer, Barbara Crampton, who also plays the main character of Anne Fedder, to infuse her character with her own personal vulnerability. The Thing takes place in remote Antarctica, where a group of scientists are disturbed at their camp by a helicopter shooting at a dog. When they take in the dog, it brutally attacks the camp and they discover the beast can assume the shape of its victims. A resourceful helicopter pilot (Russell) leads the crew in a desperate, gory battle against the vicious creature before it picks them all off.
