Scarface and the Untouchable is the latest version, a TV series being developed for Showtime by
Alex Kurtzman s Secret Hideout, run by
Heather Kadin and CBS Studios. The series is based on the nonfiction book
Scarface and the Untouchable: Al Capone, Eliot Ness and the Battle for Chicago by
Max Allen Collins and
Ben Jacoby (
Newsflash, Flash Boys. The book was published in 2018 and became a Chicago Public Library Best Book of the Year.
Abolish the FBI
Commentary
For a long time, the FBI has stood as the admirable symbol of a police agency of government, implacably going after the bad guys and neutrally enforcing the laws. This is the FBI of the movie “The Untouchables,” in which special agent Eliot Ness leads his devoted crew of armed agents in a heroic battle against the forces of organized crime.
Well, forget about the Untouchables. Today’s FBI has quite obviously been corrupted from the top. This is a process that seems to have begun under President Barack Obama, endured during the Donald Trump years, and has now reached its unfortunate nadir under President Joe Biden. It’s time for conservatives and Republicans to start thinking about getting rid of the FBI.
The epic, years-long battle between Al Capone and Eliot Ness, who clashed on the biggest stage in the world on their way to becoming ultimate American enemies, is the subject of a new TV series in early development at Showtime, from Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, run by Heather Kadin, and CBS Studios where the company is based.
Written by Ben Jacoby (Newsflash, Flash Boys), the project is based on Max Allen Collins and A. Brad Schwartz’s nonfiction book Scarface and the Untouchable: Al Capone, Eliot Ness and the Battle for Chicago.

From a visual standpoint, the Protocol Eliot Ness Natural is covered in an extremely attractive milk chocolate brown wrapper that features some obvious oil, a number of prominent veins and is slightly rough to the touch. In addition, the cigar is pleasantly firm when squeezed and features a soft box-press. Aroma from the wrapper and foot is a combination of strong peanut shells, hay, barnyard, earth, dark chocolate, generic wood and slight floral, while the cold draw brings flavors of varnish, oak, leather, hay, generic nuts, cocoa nibs and slight indeterminate sweetness.
