WESTBROOK Nathan Mullen scored 16 points and Cape Elizabeth made a total of 12 shots from 3-point range en route to a 65-47 win over Westbrook on Monday.
Dylan Swift hit four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points for the Capers (4-3)
Ben Eugley and Kyle McKone each scored 11 points for Westbrook (0-4).
BRUNSWICK 46, MT. ARARAT 38: The Dragons jumped out to a quick 13-2 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, stretching their lead up to as many as 17 points in the third quarter and rolling to a win over the Eagles.

CUMBERLAND Ella Kellogg scored 15 points, Molly Corbett added 13 and Cassidy Dumont 10 and Oxford Hills remained unbeaten on the season with a 58-35 win over Greely on Monday night.
After a slow start, Oxford Hills closed the first quarter on a 7-0 run for a 12-7 lead. The Vikings then rode a 9-0 run in the second period to a 27-16 halftime advantage as six different players scored.
Greely drew within 10 early in the third period, but consecutive 3-pointers from Corbett opened it up and Oxford Hills led by as much as 20 before taking a 45-28 lead to the fourth.
Decision on Maine high school wrestling season delayed
The MPA Wrestling Committee decides to wait until its Feb. 22 meeting to make a final decision on whether a competitive season can be held during the pandemic.

“Is this a false sense of hope?” Noble wrestling coach Kevin Gray asks of another delay to the season. “And, there’s so many other avenues open right now. It’s hard to tell kids, ‘Hey, be hopeful for a season’ that at best is only going to be a couple of dual meets.”

The 2020-2021 ski season could be viewed as somewhat of a disappointment for the Mt. Blue Nordic team.
The Mt. Blue girls, led by standout Emma Charles, are the defending Class A champions. Although the boys team is rebuilding, Mt. Blue has been able to add some exciting new talent.
High schools grapple with decision to allow media into indoor athletic events
Many schools including Cony, Skowhegan and Winthrop, among others are allowing media into games while others such as Winslow and Waterville are restricting access altogether.

The coronavirus pandemic forced changes to how basketball games will look this winter. It’s also forced schools to take a look at who will be allowed at those games.
With a focus on safety and an enforced limit on the amount of people who can gather in a room, schools have had to trim the list of people who would attend the games, with players, coaches and game officials taking up most of the spots.
