BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â The Home Depot is preparing for a busy spring season by hiring more than 440 part-time and full-time positions throughout Buffalo and the surrounding area.
In-store positions will focus on customer service, filling online orders that are picked up curbside or in store, unpacking overnight freight and merchandising.
The company is also hiring more than 1,500 associates across its 100 distribution centers nationwide.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Dollar General will host an in-person hiring event Thursday, April 22 and Friday, April 23 at the Dollar General location at 338 Kenmore Avenue in Buffalo.
The company says the event will adhere to its social distancing measures and mask mandate and is part of a nationwide effort to hire up to 20,000 new employees this spring. You can find a list of open positions and apply online here.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) â A Niagara Falls manufacturer is expanding and looking to fill 10 full-time jobs.
Niacet Corporation, which produces bread preservatives and products used to manufacture ibuprofen and other pharmaceuticals, has immediate openings for the positions of chemical operator, electrician, maintenance mechanic, foreperson, temporary shipper, financial planning analyst and administrative coordinator.
Chemical operators earn $26.86 an hour, maintenance and electricians earn $29.30 an hour, and a foreperson is paid a salary $65,000 to $75,000 a year.
Benefits include matching 401(k), health, dental, vision and paid time off for vacations and holidays.
