BUFFALO, N.Y. The Buffalo Central Terminal has overlooked Buffalo s East side for decades and has sat vacant since the last train rolled out in 1979.
The wheels are now in motion to figure out the future of the Buffalo Central Terminal in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. On Thursday, during a public meeting, the community was able to weigh in on its master plan.

Many people from Buffalo know the history of the Buffalo Central Terminal, the former railroad station was active from 1929 to 1979 and is now considered a Buffalo historic landmark. There have been some recent upgrades and the terminal is remodeled and ready for public use, the question is, what is it going to be used for?
