For the first time in three decades (lost in the first round to Arizona State on March, 15, 1991), Rutgers men’s basketball program has made the NCAA tournament. The Scarlet Knights (15-11) will face seventh-seeded Clemson (16-7) on Friday as a 10th seed, announced during the March Madness selection Sunday broadcast on ESPN.

LeGrand Coffee House set to open in his hometown of Woodbridge later this year
Following a recent launch of his own coffee business and online shop, Eric LeGrand officially announced on March 10 that the brick-and-mortar location of LeGrand Coffee House will be part of a new development at 10 Green St. in his hometown of Woodbridge.
Being developed by Prism Capital Partners, Avenue & Green is located next to the Woodbridge Train Station at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Green Street. The five-acre redevelopment will be a mixed-use facility that consists of 232 residential apartments and 12,000 square feet of retail space.
LeGrand Coffee House is expected to open in late summer or early fall.
Eric LeGrand Goes From Breathless and Motionless to Nearly Unstoppable

An awkward collision on a routine play left Eric LeGrand motionless on the turf at MetLife Stadium 10 years ago in New Jersey. He was wide awake, but he couldn t move and he couldn t breathe. When paramedics asked if he was ok, he could only say one thing. I can t breathe, LeGrand said. Although he said it as loud as he could, it came out as only a whisper. He spoke through gasped breath again: I can t breathe.
His collegiate coach at Rutgers, Greg Schiano, knelt by LeGrand s side and told his defensive tackle, E, you have to pray right now.
Star-Ledger wins general excellence award, numerous other top honors from state press association
