If the current online frenzy is anything to go by, we seem to have been plunged into an episode of Star Trek, the one where Mark Zucker-Borg tells the voyagers of the Starship We Wanna Use Free Stuff Without Wondering How It’s Paid For that they will be assimilated on February 8, or have their WhatsApps destroyed. Resistance to the Facebook Collective, it seems, is futile.

DJ Fresh and Euphonik silent on drugging and raping allegations

Neither Euphonik nor DJ Fresh have publically responded to the allegations being levelled against them on social media.
Radio presenter Thato Sikwane known to fans as DJ Fresh is facing fresh allegations of sexual impropriety.
Taking to Twitter on Monday afternoon @Nampree accused the media personality and producer and DJ Euphonik of drugging and raping her. You later laughed about it the next morning saying we (me & 3 girls) were so drunk we kept blacking out but nasidlwengula (you raped us).
Neither Euphonik nor Fresh, who is the drivetime host on 947, have publically responded to the allegations.

Virtual crowds have gathered on Facebook and Facebook Messenger – which collects more data than WhatsApp – to object to WhatsApp collecting the same amount of data.

One of those experts is Emma Sadleir, founder of the Digital Law Company who specialises in education about that liminal space – online and social media groups.
By 11 January 2021 Sadleir had been so inundated with questions and messages that she wanted to address some of the “unfounded” hysteria in an online tutorial.
