BRENTFORD WILL play Premier League football next season, after beating Swansea 2-0 in the Championship play-off final a game worth an estimated €207 million to the winners.
The match ended in disappointment for the two Irish internationals on display, with Conor Hourihane starting for the Welsh side and Ryan Manning coming off the bench.
Brentford made it 10th time lucky as they reached the Premier League for the first time.
Brentford were promoted to the Premier League for the first time in 74 years on Saturday as they beat Swansea 2-0 in a Championship play-off final worth around R3.5 billion to the winners.
