Young entrepreneur opens second business in Caldwell Lakesha Huff s newest adventure is the West Street Coffee Bar The Daily Jeffersonian Young entrepreneur, Lakesha Huff, 29, has been working to fill the void of businesses missing in the small community of Caldwell.  In October, the Cambridge native opened Bottom Line Co. LLC. Women & Kids Boutique at 400 North St., and on March 1, opened the West Street Coffee Bar at 427 West St.  Prior to these business openings, there were no women s and children s clothing stores or coffee shops within a 30-mile radius of the area, according to Huff.  This is not Huff s first foray into the small business world. She operated a couple of  Herbalife shake shops in 2016.

Jessie’s Kitchen in Broughty Ferry will act as a drop-off point for customers who want to donate their unwanted clutter to the charity that provides free professional nursing care to the terminally ill at home. Marie Curie patron Petra McMillan is hopeful a lockdown spring clean of local cupboards will see a repeat of a previous appeal which generated £20,000 for the organisation in Courier country.

Friday March 5th Sandburg College held a Health Professions Career Expo for students interested in a variety of health care jobs. Emily Stewart is a senior at Rowva High School in Oneida, Illinois. She came to the fair to learn more about the options available to her saying, “I never knew about some of the healthcare careers. It’s increased my interest.”
