Reconnaissance holds art exhibition at Den Gallery - ARAB TIMES

Messenger KUWAIT CITY, July 10: The Reconnaissance Center for Research and Studies, in cooperation with the United States Embassy in Kuwait, will hold a week-long art exhibition for American women painters, starting on Monday, July 21, at the ‘Den Gallery’, reports Al- Seyassah daily. The center said in a press statement that this exhibition, the first of its kind, constitutes a window on paintings by American artists that were loaned to the exhibition for the first time under the patronage of the US Ambassador to Kuwait Alina Romanowski, in order to provide the interested Kuwaiti public with the opportunity to be exposed closely to the prominent artists and their private works in the process of artistic and cultural exchange which has always been a dominant feature of Reconnaissance Center’s cooperation with the US Embassy since its inception in 2019.

On Monday, a number of bus drivers across the Oxfordshire network will dress up as notable characters including Cat Woman, Captain America, and Superman as a fun way to raise money for their fellow key workers. Collection tins will be available on all Stagecoach services on the day for passengers to donate money.
