Sevilla had taken the lead in the first half thanks to a lovely goal from Fernando, and they were good value for it against a Madrid side that still appeared to be labouring from their Champions League disappointment in midweek – their only moment of excitement coming via a disallowed Karim Benzema header.
Man Utd confirm contract extension for in-form Cavani

Edinson Cavani has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Man Utd until 2022, the club has announced.
The Uruguayan striker, 34, has been the subject of plenty of transfer rumours in recent weeks.
Speaking about the contract, Cavani revealed his dream of playing in front of a home crowd: “Over the season I have developed a great affection for the club and everything that it represents.
“I feel a deep bond with my team-mates and the staff who work behind the scenes here. They give me extra motivation every day and I know that, together, we can achieve special things.

Arsenal fans were overjoyed when they secured their first win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in 14 years last November, but Roy Keane was hardly enthused by the Gunners then - let alone currently.

Arsenal are set to be without European football for the first time since 1995-96 as they languish 10th in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners were sensationally upstaged by Unai Emery s Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals on Friday as pressure mounts on Arteta, who replaced the former in 2019.
