Changemakers, a collection of 20 original, two-minute plays and musicals inspired by community leaders, activists, and front-line workers who have fought for change over the course of the past year.
Changemakers explores our nation s most critical current events, told through a series of comic and dramatic vignettes created specifically for this moment. This collaborative work, written by commissioned playwrights working alongside students from University of Kansas, premiered this spring before a limited, in-person audience, and is now streaming, for free, on YouTube. Pretty Woman The Musical. The concert will also include a brand-new opening number, written by West End musical writing duo Stiles & Drewe called The Show Must Go On!
The concert will be hosted by musical theater legends, Bonnie Langford (
9 to 5 the Musical) and Trevor Dion Nicholas (
Hamilton). Luke Sheppard and Anna Fox direct, with musical direction by Stuart Morley.
This live broadcast is announced following an incredible year for the Theatre Support fund, raising over £900,000 for theater. All profits from the concert will go to Acting for Others and Phoebe Waller Bridge s charity, Fleabag Support Fund. Audiences watching the broadcast can donate to Theatre Support Fund via the organization s website.

The show, which had an out-of-town preview at the Manchester Opera House in 2020 and was originally scheduled to open in the West End in May, will begin performances at the Adelphi Theatre on 20 August 2021.
Based on the hit 1985 film,
Back to the Future The Musical has a book by Bob Gale and new music and lyrics by Grammy winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, with additional songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode .

The Government s roadmap out of lockdown allows indoor events with a capacity of 1,000 people or half full, whichever is lower, to take place from May 17.
It is at this point that the majority of London s theatres are planning to return, with Everybody s Talking About Jamie and Les Misérables: The Staged Concert among the first to reopen their doors.
Other big name musicals including Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Jersey Boys and Anything Goes have also recently announced their dates for reopening, with returns staggered until later in the summer.
