The pandemic has seen people in and out of work for the past year. While many have experienced this in the form of being furloughed, others have been made redundant as businesses feel the squeeze of financial pressures due to the pandemic. And midlifers are one of the groups who are being affected most - according to an analysis by Rest Less, an online platform that offers advice to people in their 50s and 60s, redundancies increased by 240 per cent for over-50s last year.
