Street brawl spills out onto road as men fight in broad daylight
The fighting only stopped when officers on patrol happened to be passing through the area

A 28-year-old man suffered facial injuries after a street brawl in Anfield.
The incident occurred on Belmont Road at around 8:15pm on Saturday, May 8. The ECHO understands punches and kicks were thrown by a number of individuals in a fight which happened in broad daylight. The disturbance spilled out onto the road, with approaching vehicles forced to slow down in order to prevent a collision.
A video has surfaced online showing the brawl which captures a number of individuals coming to blows.

A 14-year-old girl walking home from school was approached by a man who touched the back of her leg. The schoolgirl, who was walking along Marldon Avenue, Crosby heard the man from behind her as he reached out with his arm in an incident which left her extremely distressed, Following the incident, the ECHO understands the man ran across the road looking at his phone smiling.

Police have confirmed they don’t have to be visible when operating mobile speed cameras after being challenged in a video on Twitter.
The footage shows an officer standing against a bus stop monitoring the speed of oncoming traffic.
Sharing the video to Twitter, the person filming claimed the officer was “blending in and drivers couldn t see him from a distance.
The video was shared with the caption: “@MerseyPolice are these tactics legal??”
