Damage caused to the clubhouse of Merseyside Live Steam and Model Engineers
A devastating blaze that ripped through the clubhouse of a popular children’s miniature railway ride attraction was caused by arsonists - police said today. The fire broke out at the headquarters of Merseyside Live Steam and Model Engineers which is located on the grounds of Calderstones Park. Emergency services were called to the scene at Harthill Road in Mossley Hill on Sunday, May 2. Photos shared with the ECHO and taken in the aftermath of the blaze show the inside of the clubhouse which is completely gutted.
