Master is currently all set for a Pongal release. The film has been issued a U/A certificate by the censors.
Master will be the first major Tamil movie to hit the theatres since the start of the pandemic with other stars opting to go for the OTT route this year.

Chennai, Dec 27: In its first poll rally here, the ruling AIADMK on Sunday bluntly told ally BJP that it cannot make a dent in Tamil Nadu and ruled out accomodating the saffron party in the government if it won the assembly elections, due next year, and retained power.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], December 23 (ANI): DMK chief MK Stalin on Wednesday said that if Governor Banwarilal Purohit does not take an action on the list of charges of corruption against the Tamil Nadu Ministers then the party will approach the court. If the Governor doesn t take action on the list of charges of corruption against Tamil Nadu ministers, then we will approach the court, said Stalin.
Yesterday, DMK handed over a 97-page list of alleged corruptions in AIADMK government to the Governor.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], December 22 (ANI): A delegation led by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief MK Stalin met Tamil Nadu GovernorBanwarilal Purohit in Chennai on Tuesday and handed over a 97-page corruption list allegedly done by AIADMK government.
The list includes allegations against the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy that he favored his relatives in providing highway construction contracts and tenders worth Rs 6133.57 crores.
