Lock-ups were light in Boyd and Carter, but pretty heavy at the Big Sandy and Rowan over the weekend.
Bench warrants, drugs and DUIs made up the bulk of the charges folks were facing over the weekend.
Anyone named among those jailed over the weekend should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. The following people were locked up over the weekend:

⢠Casey E. Holbrook, 37, of Ashland, was booked Friday on a circuit court warrant charging him with second-offense simple possession of meth and contempt of court.
⢠Kevin A. Caskey, 34, of Ashland, was booked Saturday on a public intoxication charge.

A group of Grade 12 design and technology students from Northern Collegiate have put the finishing touches on scaled designs of interactive displays for the Oil Museum of Canada, displays that will later be used to create a permanent feature in the museum.

“Which, you can imagine, for a 11-year-old girl, is not so great,” she said.
Styndonck said that’s when she began to write in a more cryptic style and using imagery and the “painting of a visual picture of hurts or happiness” without being literal.
“And I just kind of kept with it,” she said. “It’s something that always made me feel better, to get it out of my head and onto the page.”
