Rolling Stone J. Cole Tops the Artists 500 Chart for the First Time Rapper racks up over 340 million song streams following the release of The Off-Season J. Cole firmly planted himself atop the Rolling Stone Artists 500 chart for the first time following the release of his new album, The Off-Season. The North Carolina rapper pulled in a staggering 343.7 million song streams for the week of May 14th through May 20th, the third highest weekly stream count in the chart’s history. The record holder remains Lil Uzi Vert who topped the chart in March 2020 with 396 million streams, while Post Malone hit Number One in 2019 with 381 million streams.

Cole Replaces Himself at Number One With ‘My Life’ The Off-Season rapper claimed eight of the Top Ten most popular tracks in the country By The Off-Season, the rapper scored eight of the ten most popular tracks in the country.  The leader was “My.Life” with 21 Savage and Morray, which earned 36.4 million streams. (Cole and 21 Savage also earned a major hit with “A Lot” in 2019.) The Off-Season track “Amari” landed at Number Three with 32.8 million streams, followed by “Pride.Is.the.Devil” with Lil Baby (Number Four, 31.5 million) and album opener “95.South” (Number 5, 30 million streams). Starting May 21, restaurants will begin operating at full capacity, while bars and nightclubs will be at 50% capacity. Other communal gathering places, including gyms, pools, and offices, will be operating at full capacity as of that date, and there will be no restrictions on private house parties.

BULLOCKE Barney (Wg Cdr RAF) Michael Barnabas Bullocke, better known as Barney, died peacefully on 8th April 2021 aged 82. Father to Elanor and Christopher (from his marriage to Vikki Pitcher), and stepfather to Sharon and Robert (from his marriage to Trish Lloyd). After a childhood spent in Devon and Weymouth, including schooling at Hardye s, he served his 34 year career in the RAF as a fighter pilot and QFI. His principal postings were 111 SQN from 64-66 and 68-70 in Wattisham, including the Paris and Biggin Hill Air Shows in 1965; 226 OCU from 66-68 in Coltishall; promotion to Sqn Ldr and posted to 74 SQN from 70-71 in Singapore including leading the final fly past before the sqn was disbanded; flight commander at 92 SQN in Gutersloh; Officer Commanding of 23 SQN back in Wattisham including the fly past for the Queen s birthday in 78 and awarded the Dacre Trophy for most efficient fighter squadron in 79. He also spent time at Bracknell and Cranwell.
