Burglary charges filed Thursday

The cases were among a number of property crime-related felonies filed July 7.
Larry D. Thompson, 35, of Wood River, was charged with burglary, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Wood River Police Department.
According to court documents, on June 6 Thompson allegedly entered a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck in the 700 block of N. Wood River Avenue to commit theft.
Bail was set at $50,000.
In an unrelated case, Keith S. Ward, 36, listed as homeless, was charged with burglary, a Class 2 felony.
That case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, on July 3 Ward allegedly entered a building in the 300 block of Oak Street, Cottage Hills, to commit theft.
