The Tigers will have one set to steal the result. On the final play, the Tigers are throwing the ball around with the Warriors defence shot to bits. The Tigers come back to the right as the siren goes. All Nofoaluma needs to do is draw the final defender but his pass is poor and goes into touch and the Warriors hang on for a critical victory.
“We touched on it quickly at the start of our video session this morning,” Hodges said. “I don’t want to jinx us, but we’re a fairly clean side and it will be far more of a concern for other teams than it is for us.

Jordan Riki used his head in a tackle with Hamilton born Morgan Harper, in the Broncos 50-6 loss to the Sea Eagles, but he faces a two-game ban for a crusher tackle on Haumole Olakau atu. “One of them was for an attempted headbutt (by the Broncos’ Jordan Riki), so people are getting a bit hysterical about that, I think that should be a minimum of being a sending off.

The Warriors will get a welcome experience boost in the backline this weekend, with veteran centre Euan Aitken confirming his return from injury.
Aitken was one of the club s major signings this season, after spending six seasons with the St George Illawarra Dragons, but has been limited to one match due to an ankle injury.
With Chanel Harris-Tavita returning from a foot injury last week for the first time since round two, Brown injected Walsh into the game with 26 minutes to play in last Sunday’s disastrous 38-32 loss to Manly. Playing in the halves, the former Bronco made an immediate impact with a line break, a try assist, two tackle breaks and a try of his own.

It was confirmed on Tuesday that Peta Hiku’s shoulder injury will rule him out for the rest of the season. But Walsh only made three tackles and missed just as many so with Brown already raising the issue of possible burnout for the teenager later in the season, he will want to tread carefully with his prized recruit at such an early stage in his career.
